Dr. Ravi Dhital is a scientist specializing in cancer immunology, with a Ph.D. and M.Sc. in Immunopathology from the esteemed Post Graduate Institute of Medical Education and Research (PGIMER), India. He also holds a bachelor’s degree in medical laboratory technology from the same institution.

With over a decade of experience in both basic and translational research, Dr. Dhital transitioned from renal transplant immunology to cancer research. He is an expert in advanced immunological techniques, including the design of complex multicolor flow cytometry panels and conducting comprehensive immune analyses.

Currently, Dr. Dhital serves as a Research Scientist at Nationwide Children’s Hospital, where his primary focus is on developing oncolytic viroimmunotherapy strategies to boost antitumor responses in pediatric neuronal tumors. He is also exploring the use of extracellular vesicles (EVs) to deliver immune modulators to tumors, aiming to improve immunotherapy outcomes.

Dr. Dhital is an active member of several professional organizations and volunteers as Board Chair for the Arogya Institute of Mental Health and Vice President of the America-Nepal Society for Medical Laboratory Sciences.
