I spent 20 years in commercial construction sales with three different publically traded companies. During this time I became very interested in their 401(k) plans, so I studied them extensively. Observing that many of my colleagues felt overwhelmed by fund choices and allocation decisions, I was inspired to help others prepare for retirement.

In 2007, I pursued a career as a financial advisor. In 2011 I earned my CFP® designation and launched Heritage Financial Advisors in Columbia, MD.
