Director of Community RelationsUPMCRev. Dr. Brenda Alton is deeply committed to her faith and community. As the CEO of Brenda Alton Ministries (BAM), she ministers both internationally and locally, focusing on life application education of marketplace and Kingdom principles. She also owns BMA Resources, LLC, a consulting business that offers training, life coaching, mentorship, and leadership training. Additionally, Dr. Alton offers healthcare and corporate chaplaincy. Additionally, she serves as the president of the Holistic Hands Community Development Corporation and is the founder of Kingdom Embassy., Harrisburg, Pennsylvania.
In her role as the director of Community Relations for UPMC Central Pa. Region, Dr. Alton leads teams in insurance enrollment, community program education, volunteer services, and spiritual care services. She holds master's degrees in divinity and Christian Education from Virginia Union University, Samuel DeWitt Proctor School of Theology, a doctorate in ministry from Primus Theological Seminary, and a doctorate in philosophy in Administration and Leadership Studies in Nonprofit and Public Sectors from Indiana University of Pennsylvania. Dr. Alton released her first book, March 1, 2025, The Blessing of Being Authentically You: A Journey of Self-Discovery, Healing, and Divine Transformation. She provides awareness and access to health, education, soul, and financial wealth. She values her blended family of seven, her twelve grandchildren, her husband of 27 years, and their pet boxer. Dr. Brenda Alton believes in the importance of leaving a legacy rather than being a legend. |
